Scrum Master

We are seeking a Scrum Master who will provide effective project management, collaboration, leadership and coaching to support the development of our client’s service delivery web projects.

The successful candidate will be adept in Agile and Scrum methodology, have excellent project management skills and experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and IT infrastructure.   The successful candidate will run Scrum meetings and coordinate, monitor and evaluate activities linked to the project delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated
  • Serve as project manager/project coordinator
  • Communicate with other management, developers, product managers and technical support specialists on product issues
  • A team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
  • Support the product development process
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Engineering / Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years as a Scrum Master
  • 2-4 years as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Experience gathering, analyzing and validating data for the businesses on various initiatives
  • Experience gathering and documenting information from business users regarding their reporting and analytical requirements
  • Experience providing business insight to help gauge capacity, productivity and costs
  • Experience working on projects with SharePoint
  • Experience with IT infrastructure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
  • Ability to understand complex technical issues
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel
  • Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to coach the team
  • Fluent in French and English

This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity located in Montreal, QC
