Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible to design/develop both intranet and internet applications to automate and maintain business processes in order to support our client’s objectives. This successful candidate would be responsible for the design, development, on-going technical support and administrations of all internal and external web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical, communication and problem solving skills.
 
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Designs and develops  websites and web applications
Ability to create superior original designs for the web with a strong design style including creative design solutions.
Develops modifications within the ColdFusion web sites as necessary
Ability to use Avid Liquid for video editing and experience with video production
Maintains Webtrends, including reports, data gathering and software upgrades
Researches and initiates application ideas
Other IT related projects as required
Any other duties as required
 
Qualifications and Competencies:
University Degree in Computer Science is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role including responsibilities
Ability to effective manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Experience with video production through the use of Avid Liquid
Excellent organization and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including proven written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Apache configuration, ColdFusion MX and Unix platform
Knowledge of Marcomedia Dreamweaver and ColdFusion
Great sense of web page layout and strong expertise in web site creation/design
Knowledge of Microsoft .Net with C# and Silverlight development
Expert level skill in Photoshop and Macromedia Flash
Strong technical knowledge of how web technologies apply to web design such as HTML, Flash, CSS and AJAX
Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory.
Familiarity with SQL Server, Windows 2003
