Skills and Experience

• A post-secondary certification in Computer Science or Information Systems
• 2-3 years related experience in a medium size organization responsible for systems security and Windows server administration.
• Network security and management experience.
• Configuration Virus/Spam/Spyware appliances
• Currently holds a Cisco Network Administration (CNA) certification
• Current Microsoft and Security (CISSP/CISA/GIAC) Certifications
• Proficient with IT Security tools, practices and standards
• Exchange Server 2003 and Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 systems management
• Watchguard and Pix Firewall systems.
• Supporting secure Cisco VPN solution
• Experience with public sector Federal and/or Provincial organizations, systems and security (PHIPA, and PIPEDA)
• Knowledge of web application security
• Experience maintaining and managing critical systems.
• Knowledge of SAN configuration and management utilities
• Knowledge of Hardware and software RAID solutions.
• Configuration and maintenance of Blackberry Enterprise Server, Quantum tape library, and ARCServe, tape backup software.
• Experience with public sector Federal and/or Provincial organization’s systems
• Experience migrating to Windows 2008 server OS.
• Experience maintaining Windows production environments.
• Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting HP and Dell server hardware.
