PC Support Specialist – XP Deployment
- Work as part of the implementation and support team for new products
- Update/maintain fixed asset inventory (blackberries, PC’s and MAC’s, laptops, PC accessories and peripherals)
- Assists in moves, adds and changes
- Create and maintain processes and standard operating procedures as they relate to offered services
- Work as part of the team to evaluate problems related to network connectivity towards identifying and resolving - LAN/WAN and telecommunications connectivity issues
- Respond to client inquiries
- Provide administrative support for corporate networks.
- Vehicular transport of necessary equipment to offsite locations via company vehicle or personal vehicle if company vehicle is not available.
- Provide technical assistance and training to staff at all levels including management & elected officials
- Identify technical training deficiencies
- Provide Helpdesk staff with documented solutions to client requests
- Trouble-shooting, analysis and problem resolution of desktop (software/hardware) and communications related queries
Requirements
· Prior second level technical and deskside support experience
· Travel with car required
· LAN/WAN and telecommunications knowledge
· Office 2000, Blackberry, Windows 2000 and Windows XP troubleshooting knowledge
· Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical people
· Easy going team player
· Prior Heat experience an asset |
