JOB DESCRIPTION
§ Provide technical and logistical support to computer end users;
§ Install and configure computer hardware and software;
§ Document procedures for use and installation;
§ Keep an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software;
§ Provide input regarding selection of hardware and software;
§ Take part in the implementation of different projects;
§ Phone based support and troubleshooting as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
§ Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
§ Minimum of 3 to 4 years of helpdesk experience;
§ Very good knowledge of Windows XP Professional, MS Office 2003 Professional, MS Office XP Professional and Microsoft Network;
§ Good Knowledge of configuring and supporting Blackberries
§ Very good knowledge of HP laptops, Toshiba laptops and Compaq PC’s and peripherals;
§ Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team, with a keen sense of customer service;
§ Knowledge of JDEdwards and video-conferencing equipment are an asset. |
