Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician will serve as the primary contact with client’s retail customer locations. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining and performing kiosk maintenance and respond to service and repair dispatches as needed. The schedule for routine service calls is flexible.
Responsibilities
- Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule)
- Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to kiosks when out of order
- Unscheduled service calls are expected to be responded to in four hours with an ETA targeting on-site visits within 24 hours
- Install machines in the GTA
- Monitor territory reports daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues
- Maintain inventory for re-stocking machines
- Conduct store meetings and interact with store staff/management on a routine basis to ensure a good working relationship with our clients and promote the machine to improve revenue
- Drive revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc
- Follow store safety rules and work in a safe and healthy manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 1 year of advanced trouble-shooting skills (or equivalent education)
- IT, mechanical and/or electro-mechanical skills
- Computer skills – ability to replace circuits/motherboards
- Ability to deal with customers and employees at all levels
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Must have own computer / laptop
- Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and auto insurance
This is a permanent position with an annual salary of $45,000.00 plus $6,000.00 annual car allowance, paid gas expenses and benefits.
