MS Dynamics Senior Systems Analyst (NAV 2009)

Our client requires a highly experienced Senior Systems Analyst to effectively and efficiently design, implement and manage their Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Resource Planning system, SQL Server Business Intelligence Solutions and Reports for optimal and timely service delivery and support for current and future needs.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Develop, document and contributes expertise into defining the business needs, controls, risks and impacts on existing business processes with respect to implementing an integrated Corporate-wide ERP solutions
• Manage, design, Implement and train users to utilize Jet Reports to automate key financial reports
• Maintain and review a segregation of duties matrix to ensure incompatible functions are separated and strong internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Design, implement and manage Business Intelligence systems using Microsoft SQL 2008 SSAS and SSIS
• Manage third party vendor and service provider relationships ensuring value for money and high quality, timely service

Skills and Qualifications:

• Superior analytical, requirements gathering/analysis and problem solving skills to determine appropriate tools and methods for systems analysis.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting, finance, procurement, project costing business processes and key internal controls.
• Superior skills to collect and document user requirements, conduct GAP analysis and build Use Case Scenarios
• Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence Analysis and Reporting tools to manage the production of reports from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, SQL Server Analysis and Integration Services.
• Strong knowledge of systems design/development/maintenance, coding and testing to manage migration and/or enhancements in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office integration with ERP.
• Strong knowledge of Jet Reports design, implementation and management.
• Knowledge of current ERP theories, principles, policies, practices, techniques, methodologies, solutions, industry trends and their applications.
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills (People/Soft Skills) to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, reading and comprehensive skills to develop and deliver reports and presentations and provide advice and consultation.
• Issues management/resolution skills to identify, assess and resolve issues.
• University degree, preferably IT systems and accounting focused and/or equivalent education and experience.

Top Responsibilities:

• Perform Navision administration functions that include all appropriate security measures.
• Lead workshops in the identification of business requirements (process, functional, organizational).

Top Qualifications:

• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2009
• 3-5 years business analyst experience or being a subject matter expert.
• 5-10 years systems analyst experience in ERP solutions.

This is a 1 year contract role located in Toronto, ON.
