Product Manager / Product Owner (IT)
The Product Manager / Product Owner (IT) is responsible for the entire lifecycle of our client’s products. This includes the following:
- Product performance based on analytics and user feedback gathered first hand
- A clear understanding of the business objective, functional and non-functional requirements, and how the product is meeting these
- Vendor management and engagement to shape the product roadmap
- Competitive analysis of the product marketplace in terms of features, functionality, fit, and business value
Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
- Set the product vision
- Understand the business objectives and the problem to be solved
- Understand the user requirements and use cases
- Research the product marketplace
- Create product options
- Drive product evolution in an iterative fashion based on user requirements (Agile/Scrum)
- Manage product deployment and adoption
- Build product reporting dashboards and analytics
- Engage users to gather feedback
- Drive external vendors to deliver and innovate
- Train users and internal stakeholders on product features and functions
Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Excellent ability to understand and communicate business objectives and solutions
- Excellent understanding of the user perspective and ability to drive exceptional user experience and adoption
- Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Exceptional analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required.
- Strong technical background in IT systems and how they work
- Ability to conduct market and product research, make recommendations, and communicate findings
- Ability to communicate up and down the management chain, providing the appropriate level of detail and focus on the right information.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

This is a permanent position located in downtown Toronto with an annual salary of $80,000.00 per annum.
