Senior Technical Support Analyst

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Technical Support Analyst to support their growing office in Georgetown, ON. The successful candidate will support the company’s various systems, including cloud-based systems, VOIP, VPN, Exchange and a VMware environment. Other day-to-day duties will include supporting new hardware installations, software and operating systems, local management/support of existing hardware, software, servers, printers, workstations and phones, performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote troubleshooting, installation and repairs using remote support tools
• Provide access to clients (Permission etc) password resets, unlocking accounts through Active Directory.
• Administer and maintain end user accounts, permission, and access rights
• Ensure network connectivity of all workstations
• Support print servers, printers, routers, switches & hubs
• Support server and workstation infrastructure in all locations
• Support the IT infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, VMware and other processes
• Support Exchange and Citrix based interfaces
• Provide Navision (NAV) Support (an asset)
• Work with the IT team, end users and deal with issues as they arise
• All other duties as required

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in technology support roles
• 5 years of experience working in a Service Desk environment is preferred
• 3-5 years experience in Microsoft Active Directory and IP network administration
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365
• Good experience with VOIP or office phone systems
• Experience providing support for ERP systems (Dynamics Navision an asset)
• Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, switches and wireless devices.
• Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows and Macs.
• Keen attention to detail
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Some infrequent travel to the US required

This is an on-site permanent role located in Georgetown, ON with an annual salary of $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per annum.
