Yardi Software Solution Manager
The Yardi Software Solution Manager will build and manage the team that will service our client’s Yardi software application. This role has the following mandate:
- Lead and manage the research, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions and enhancements to meet the needs of the business.
- Provide maintenance and support for existing applications.
- Provide technical advice, high level design, and solutions to the team.
- Create and maintain an effective QA / Testing methodology and protocol.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and management of all activities related to the integration of software applications, and third-party solutions, as required to meet the business’ needs.
The Yardi Software Solution Manager is a key role in building the business’ capabilities to deliver its chosen value discipline – Customer Intimacy. This value permeates the organization from the relationship between IT and the business, and that of the business and their clients.
Responsibilities
- Managing Strategy: Understanding the enterprise direction
- Managing innovation: Create an environment conducive to innovation; maintain an understanding of the enterprise environment; assess the potential of emerging technologies and innovation ideas; recommend appropriate further initiatives
- Managing Budgets & Costs: Manage costs
- Managing Human Resources: Maintain the skills and competencies of personnel; evaluate employee job performance; plan and track the usage of IT and business human resources; manage contract staff
- Managing Relationships: Understand business expectations; provide input to the continual improvement of services
- Managing Service Agreements: Identify IT Services
- Managing Suppliers: Manage supplier relationships and contracts; manage supplier risk; monitor supplier performance and compliance
- Managing Quality: Integrate quality management into solutions for development and service delivery; maintain continuous improvement
- Managing Requirements Definition: Obtain approval of requirements and solutions
- Managing Solutions Identification & Build: Perform quality assurance
- Managing Organizational Change Enablement: Enable operation and use; embed new approaches; sustain changes
- Managing Change Acceptance and Transitioning: Perform a post-implementation review
- Managing Knowledge: Identify and classify sources of information; organize and contextualize information into knowledge; use and share knowledge.
The Yardi Software Solution Manager manages a team of three direct reports that are responsible to assist the Manager in delivering on these responsibilities as well as responsibilities for other key processes.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to accommodate vacancies within the organization.
Knowledge & Experience
- At least eight years of experience in solution building roles of increasing responsibility and scope
- Minimum of two years working in a hands-on management role
- At least four years of Yardi Real Estate Solutions
- Good understanding of basic business processes (e.g., finance, sales)
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Project management experience

This is a permanent position located in Toronto, ON. We are only considering candidates with at least 4 years of Yardi experience.
