Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Workspace One Administrator

The Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Workspace One Administrator will lead small system design or enhancements to large and complex systems that may impact across branches or departments. This role will consult closely with our client’s external vendor and internal Support teams to build and manage the creation of packages in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to transition to the Workspace One solution. They will be accountable for identifying and directly addressing all business and technical issues impacting customer success. They will actively expand adoption of Workspace One solutions within accounts by driving relationships at every level, both internally and externally, to influence positive change, in addition to customer facing activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex end-to-end solution delivery and maintenance for small systems design, or enhancements to large systems
• Oversee the provision of specialist advice by others, consolidates expertise from multiple sources, including third-party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organizational objectives
• Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and configuration of infrastructure components in virtualized environments.
• Maintain application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures
• Initiate and monitor actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes, and services
• Respond to equipment malfunctions, unusual or other situations that impact system performance, performs diagnostics and other problem-solving activities, and implements remedial procedures as required
• Provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with the overall project. Reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases
• Maintain an ongoing awareness and understanding of new and enhanced technological development. Research current available technologies to meet customer needs
• Apply tools, techniques, and processes to track, log, and correct information related to configuration items
• Provide Level 2-3 support for clients and be a point of escalation for our client’s Support Services Operations
• Knowledge transfer: colleagues, support staff and customers – includes how-to-documents/presentations and recorded session

Qualifications

• 5 years of technical experience in a computing environment with experience in complex, hybrid (on-premise and Cloud) and highly diverse data, application, and technology environments
• Good experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Good experience with package building/deployment for laptops
• Exposure to VMware Workspace One an asset
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in deploying and administering Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Windows Server OS and newer
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
• Proficient with the use of Google G Suite productivity tools
• Knowledge of MS Active Directory and Group Policies
• Knowledge of Cloud server deployment and administration (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Windows Server & VMware Administration training is an asset
• Experience with iOS device management an asset

This is a permanent hybrid position with an annual salary of $95,000.00 located in downtown Toronto.
