ECM SharePoint Developer/Administrator
As an ECM SharePoint Developer/Administrator, you are primarily accountable for the implementation, administration and enhancement of the SharePoint platform as well as its integration with other applications/platforms. The role includes daily monitoring of the system, supporting client requests, investigating and resolving technical issues, and maintaining the overall health and performance of the SharePoint environments. The ECM SharePoint Developer/Admin will also perform upgrade and patching of SharePoint environments and assist in future integrations with existing and new systems.
Responsibilities
• Manage, secure and maintain the SharePoint Online (SPO) platform, including OneDrive for Business
• Oversee and enforce all aspects of the Site Collection lifecycle (including managing permissions)
• Manage and maintain site Content and Structure settings, Site Hierarchy, and site collection navigation
• Review new functionalities and features in the MS SPO roadmap and advise the business on changes/improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint SharePoint Online and OneDrive client sync or access issues and related malfunctions
• Design, configure and manage comprehensive site collection, site and list level usage reports and usability analysis
• Identify and report governance violations for Enterprise SharePoint using Compliance center and IRM configurations for O365 SharePoint
• Provide SharePoint end user support and end-user training, including training higher level access roles such as site owners
• Develop and/or revise guidelines and documentation for the end users, site owners and administrators
• Work with relevant IT teams to establish an online backup and recovery procedure
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience with administration, development and customization of new and existing SharePoint 2013/2016/online applications
• Extensive experience with OOB SharePoint features for creating webpages, forms, workflows and ability to work with Business Connectivity Services, Master Pages, Apps, Page Layouts, User Store, Web Parts, Windows Workflow Foundation, SharePoint Ribbon, etc.
• 5+ years of development experience with Microsoft .NET platform
• Experience with development of MS technologies: SQL, XML, MS Web Services, Enterprise Library, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Presentation
• Proficiency in C# and JavaScript
• Extensive IT/Systems Administrator experience in the Microsoft space (Windows O/S, AD, ADFS, SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.)
• Working knowledge of Web Servers (IIS or Tomcat)
This is a minimum 14 month hybrid/remote based contract located in downtown Toronto.
