Senior Business Analyst (IRS AI-Enabled Technology)
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst (IRS AI-Enabled Technology) to streamline and automate our client’s processes in the central clearing of interest rate swaps (IRS). Your expertise in capital markets, clearing flow and controls, and process automation related to central clearing of IRS trades will be crucial in achieving our client’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives related to central clearing of interest rate swaps.
• Translate business requirements into automation specifications and identify opportunities for process streamlining and automation.
• Leverage your deep knowledge of capital markets, clearing flow and controls, and process automation to develop innovative solutions using AI-enabled technology.
• Work closely with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and the IT team to implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology and execute automation initiatives.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of automated processes.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of AI-enabled automation solutions, making necessary adjustments and improvements as required.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of automated processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI-enabled technology, capital markets, and central clearing of IRS trades, recommending relevant enhancements and improvements to existing processes.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in automating processes related to central clearing of interest rate swaps (IRS) in the capital markets industry.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of capital markets, clearing flow and controls, and central clearing of IRS trades.
• Proven experience in utilizing AI-enabled technology to streamline and automate processes, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in software/tools such as Bloomberg, VBA, and SQL.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
This is a contract hybrid role located in downtown Toronto, ON.
